Advanced Jiu-Jitsu

Advanced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu aims to consolidate fundamental skills, (positional, maintaining, escaping and submitting)and developing more advanced transitional skills (various sweeps, advanced guards and setups), this the most exciting step in students journey as members begin to specialize, finding their own game and often becoming dominant top or bottom players. Warm-ups are more relaxed but the concentration of drills and techniques becomes much more advanced involving sequences, deception, and other specialized BJJ strategy. Most 60 minute classes end with 30-45 minutes of smooth, controlled sparring using training rounds 5-7 minutes long (rolling).
